Castilian chest in walnut wood, textile and wrought iron. 17th century.

Rectangular flat top, without legs, decorated with carved mouldings on the upper and lower edges of the chest and along the front, avoiding its metal lock, placed on a red textile. It has an openwork composition of scrolls and other simplified forms, decoration that also appears on the rest of the chest's fittings. On the sides, on the front, there are two metal pieces that secure the lid; on the sides, there are handles enhanced with a composition of openwork iron on textile, similar to the rest of the elements. The interior is made of exposed wood, together with the corresponding fittings (hinge and lock parts), and a division of the lid into two sections.
