A old Indian fragment Mughal(?) Islamic 17th/18th c(?)
The old fragment is adorned with organic motifs very similar to Mughal design. The fragment was found in Tibet in the 1960's. Is seemingly of Indian origin.
A lining for reinforcement was added by a well known museum ( a niche was left open so that one can see the back of the textile)
