Japanese Inro Attributed To Koma Kyuhaku, I
An Inro divided into three compartments, attributed to the well-known lacquer artist "Koma Kyuhaku", in the center of the Inro on both sides is a traditional Japanese dresser painted in lacquer with geometric decorations painted in golden lacquer combined with mother-of-pearl inlays, the base of the Inro is made of alternating layers of brown and crimson lacquer, the outer layer is engraved with stripes along the entire length The Inro simulating the appearance and texture of a natural tree trunk, in the upper part of the Inro there are vine branches hanging next to leaves and vines that are carried on them, the inside of the Inro is covered with the Nashiji technique on top of the intense red lacquer typical of the artist, signed - "Koma Kyuhaku Saku" in golden lacquer, slight defects and typical wear of the lacquer.
