On Saturday night, art and antique items from the countries of the Far East and Islam will go up for auction. A Chinese Tea Pitcher in an Impressive Cloisonne Work in Patterns of Foo Dogs, circa 1900, Qing Dynasty
The jug has an impressive presence, has a hexagonal structure decorated with a Foo Dog pattern and other Chinese motifs in enamel and gilding based on brass, the vessel has a lid decorated with a solid Foo Dog pattern and a rounded handle at the top and a pair of carry handles. The interior of the vessel is also covered with intense light blue enamel, circa 1900, Qing Dynasty Dimensions - height including lid: 20 cm diameter: 12 cm
