European Tobacco Box Made of Jeweled Silver Decorated w/ Enamel
Antique European tobacco box (19th century) made of jeweled silver:
The lid is decorated with Guilloché enameling in a deep turqoise shade, set above it is a floral application inlaid with pearls and gemstones (apparently Ruby and Emerald). The lid's frame and closing buckle are also set with pearls. The closing button is set with Cabochon cut gemstone.
The box's reverse is decorated with handcrafted engravings in a floral pattern.
Wear and old repair to the enamel.
