PAIR OF ANTIQUE JAPANESE BOOKENDS WITH ONYX BASES
An antique late Meiji period pair of cast white metal alloy figural bookends modeled as a Japanese peasant wearing a Kimono and seated in front of a basket. The surface is covered with a nice dark patina. Both bookends are raised on natural polished green onyx rectangular bases. Dated from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Art Deco Style Decorative Objects, Asian Metalware For Home Decor, Gifts And Collectibles.
Dimensions: H 6 1/4 in. Base 4 5/8 x 7 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
