GROUP OF 3 GERMAN WOUND BADGES WWI AND WWII
A group of three German wound badges from World War I and World War II. First is the 20th of July 1944 silvered wound badge. This item follows the design of the typical wound badge with the swastika, crossed swords, and helmet surrounded by a laurel wreath, however this badge is dated and features a facsimile of Adolf Hitlers signature. Second is the German wound badge, first established on March 3, 1918 by Emperor Wilhelm II of the German Empire to reward soldiers of the German army who were wounded during the First World War. The third badge for wounding is the same as the second, but revived in Nazi Germany to reward members of the German armed forces who fought on the side of the nationalists in the Spanish Civil War, and subsequently on the fronts of World War II. Includes a swastika on the helmet. First And Second World War German Decorations And Third Reich Military Collectibles. Third Reich Memorabilia.
