SET OF 6 DESERT FORKS FROM THE SS ACADEMY WEWELSBURG
A set of World War II stainless steel sugar desert forks from the SS Academy canteen in Wewelsburg. A total of six items. The handles of the forks are adorned with an embossed scrollwork motif. Each fork has an SS emblem with the inscription Wewelsburg on the handle. Probably marked with etching. Wewelsburg is a Renaissance castle in Westphalia, Germany which became an SS Academy in 1934. The Schutzstaffel, or SS, was a major military organization in Nazi Germany responsible for the Holocaust. Second World War Historical Collectables And Memorabilia, Cutlery And Flatware.
