RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL HAND PAINTED ICON PENDANT
An antique late 19th to early 20th-century Russian icon locket pendant. A hand-painted tryptich on wood enclosed in silver framing with polychrome cloisonne enamel decor. The icons depict Mother of God with Baby Jesus and two saints. There is a suspension ring on top. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers mark are on the backside, also marked in Cyrillic, KHLEBNIKOV. Ivan Khlebnikov is a jewelry company founded in 1871 in Moscow, which gained fame for making jewelry from gold, silver and precious stones.
