An antique Russian Orthodox icon. The icon depicts Virgin Mary holding Jesus Child with her right hand. This rare iconography is titled Mother of God the Right Handed. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. Inscribed in Church Slavonic in the upper part. Antique Russian Orthodox Religious Items and Collectibles.
