ANTIQUE TIBETAN BRASS GEMSTONE ELEPHANT TRINKET BOX
An antique late 19th-century Tibetan brass figurine of an elephant which serves as a trinket box. The figure is mounted on a pedestal and garnished with removable festive headgear and throne carriage, also known as howdah. The gilt vestment is richly decorated with filigree ornaments, turquoise, corals, mother-of-pearl, and sapphires. Oriental Buddhist Collectibles, Southeast Asian Decor, Jewelry And Metalwork.
