ANCIENT NEAR EASTERN BRONZE AGE HARAPPAN JAR W IBEX
An ancient Harappan jar from the Indus Valley, Bronze Age. The jar was decorated with an image of a mountain goat divided by a linear decor. Harappan ceramics are bright or dark red, uniformly durable, and well baked. The ceramics are painted in red and black tones. People used several ways to decorate ceramics, for example, geometric patterns, circles, squares, and triangles, as well as figures of animals, birds, snakes, or fish are often found in Harappan ceramics.
