An antique Greek Aphrodite Goddess figurine, a reproduction of the Grand Tour. The standing Aphrodite is skillfully realistically crafted, depicted by covering her nakedness with her hands. Such objects were a popular souvenir production during the Grand Tour era, the 17th to early 19th century custom of a traditional European trip, with Italy as a key destination, by upper class young European men.
