CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN JAR AND COVER
Ca. 18/19th century. A large baluster shaped Chinese famille verte jar and lid. The body has panels of peony and insect paintings against a red-ground with chrysanthemum and foliage scrolls. The cover is painted in the same manner, with repeating plants decorating the neck, conjoining the two parts. 一件中国粉彩大罐。罐身绘有牡丹和昆虫图案，红底上绘有菊花和叶子卷轴。盖子以同样的方式绘制，颈部有重复 的植物装饰，将两部分连在一起。 Size: 570mm x 300mm; Weight: 8.5kg
