neoclassical style consisting of two jugs, a tea kettle, a teapot, a sugar bowl and a milk jug, resting on a circular foot, the bodies engraved with classical Roman scenes. Sterling silver, fully hallmarked London 1869-1870 (ewer, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug), London 1886-1887 (ewer) and Sheffield 1911-1912 (tea kettle), silversmiths Martin Hall & Co Ltd (1866-1936 - formerly Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall).
