Civil War 15th Maine Joshua Chamberlain Signed
Original wood framed (no glass) certificate dated 1868 acknowledging the service of Capt. Laurens J. Joyce, Commanding Officer of Co. F., 15th Maine Infantry during the Civil War. The lower left is signed by the Maine Adjutant General and right is original hand signed by Governor and Major General Joshua Chamberlain. He was the Medal of Honor recipient from the Battle of Gettysburg made famous in popular culture in the movie Gettysburg as played by Jeff Daniels. Total measurements are 25.5 inches x 21.5 inches.
