WWII US Army Liaison Pilot ETO Medal Photo Letter Group
Large group from Liaison Pilot 1st Lt. Walter H. Gerving of the 951st Field Artillery Battalion of the First Army in Europe WWII. He flew artillery spotting missions. This archive includes his self-censored letters, Air medal (not engraved), misc. insignia, certificates and discharge documents, as well as numerous good quality original photos of planes, damaged German tanks, Soldiers, weapons, battle damage, etc.
