Clarence E. Braley (1854 - 1927) Pastel on paperboard, signed lower right "C. Braley", piece measures 23.5"] x 5 and 30.5 x 12 inches with custom frame. Clarence Braley was a self-taught landscape painter whose favorite mediums were watercolor and pastel. He was active in New Bedford, Massachusetts from 1875 to 1925 and participated in the New Bedford Art Association. He also exhibited at the Boston Art Club and the Art Institute of Chicago.
