Antique Basket Quilt
Antique c1870s basket quilt measuring 78 x 94 inches. Comprised of 53 basket blocks, 7 x 7, set on point and staggered, with a 3.5 inch white sashing with white setting triangles, and a 3.5 inch white border. It is hand and machine pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted with thin cotton batting and white cotton reverse. Front is folded over to the back to finish the edge. It is in poor condition with spots, storage discoloration and fabric deterioration. Auctioneer also believes the brown fabric may have been a fugitive purple. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5.
