2 19th C Quilt Tops Finished in 20th Century
Includes a c1890 Log Cabin Quilt Top finished probably 1980s to 1990s. It measures 74 x 74". Comprised of 80 one blocks, 8 x 8", set straight, 9 x 9. There is a polyester batting and a cotton backing. The edge is finished with a blue bias tape. Label on the back states made by Readington Quilting. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. In fair condition with a few logs deteriorating and a few small spots. Along with a c1910 Tumbling Blocks Quilt Top probably finished circa 1980s. It measures 64 x 60 one inches. Consistent use of the red with whit dot, , blue and white striped, and the blue and pink plaid fabrics. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a polyester batting and a light blue cotton poly reverse. The edge is finished with and applied light blue fabric binding is in good condition with a few small spots.
