Antique c1900 Red and White Devils Claw Quilt Measuring 75 by 77 inches. It is comprised of 25 blocks, 10x10 inches, set straight, 5 by 5, with a red and white triple strip sashing 4 inches wide, and Ohio Star cornerstones. There is a red and white triple strip outer border measuring 4 inches wide. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge has an applied white bias binding finishing the edge, this is a newer addition to the quilt (early 20th century). Hand written in pencil in one corner is This is Aunt Ida. It is in good condition with a few small areas of wear. One appears to have a repair. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance.
