2 c1950 Quilt Tops: Log Cabin, Whispering Leaves
2 Vintage c1950 Quilt Tops. Includes a very graphic vintage Log Cabin Quilt Top in a Barn Raising Arrangement in bright pink and yellow sateen fabrics. It measures 79x79". It is comprised of 36 blocks, 11x11", set straight, 6 by 6, with 4 borders: 1.75" yellow, 1.25" pink, 1.25" yellow, and 1.75" pink. It is machine pieced. It is in fair condition with small spots, fade lines and fading areas. And has heavy pencil lines to mark the quilting. Also included is a vintage whispering leaves variation quilt top measuring 62 by 60. Very unique pattern, in fact it is the first time we have come across it! And that the first probably because of the complicated construction and curved piecing. This quilt top will not lie flat and would be perfect for upcycling. It is machine pieced. What is here is in good condition. It has a great variety of earlier fabrics from the 1930s including some novelty and feedsack prints. Both textiles are just quilt tops with no batting, batting, or quilting. From the Estate of Sharon Stark. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Each additional lot we can pack in the same box is $5 each. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for an International Shipping Quote BEFORE the auction.
