Antique c1850 Democrat Rose Variation measuring 85 by 85 inches. It is comprised of 4 blocks, 33.5 by 33.5 inches, set straight, 2 x 2, with an 8.5 inch white border with green swag and red flowers. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with overall toning, and small spots. This is a great study of the different ways green fabric can go fugitive. Note the bright green along one border, and the blue, which was originally green, along another border. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
