Antique c1900 Contrary Wife Quilt, believed to be from the Midwest, measuring 79 by 79 inches. It is comprised of 16 Contrary Wife blocks, 12.5 by 12.5 inches, set on point, 4 by 4, with solid white setting squares and triangles. There is a 2 inch indigo print inner border and a 2.5 inch solid white outer border. It is hand and machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse, the edge is finished with an applied indigo print binding. It is in good condition with a few small spots and discolorations and a tiny split in the indigo print on a border. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
