A beautiful 16th-century edition, we believe the first, of this classic work of Italian humanism and author of this treatise on "perennial wisdom", an expression of which he is also regarded as the author. An important exegete, author of several important works on the Old Testament, he was born in Gubbio in 1496 and died in Venice in 1549. Very rare.
