Presentation copy of 'Munich - Essence of a German City - Capital of the Movement (Munchen - Vom Wesen einer Deutschen Stadt) created on behalf of the mayor and Reichsleiter KARL FIEHLER, published by Arbeitsgemeinschaft fur Zeitgeschichte, Munich, 1939, hardcover, 134 pages, 8.25 x 11.5 inches. The cover reads '...that no one can say they know Germany...' with the Munich coat of arms. Introduction by Karl Fiehler (1895-1969), with a tipped in ab/w frontispiece, a photograph of a bust of ADOLF HITLER. Many b/w photographs and illustrations. Minor discoloration on the back cover and bumped corner. Else in a very nice condition.
