H.K. HERGLOTZ INTERMENT CAMP SURVIVOR SIGNED BOOK
(1919-2006) German scientist, served in the German Army after the annexation of Czechoslovakia. He survived being wounded in battle and eventually escaped to Vienna from East Germany. In 1955, he was recruited to work with other European scientists on Operation Paper Clip at the DuPont Company in Delaware. 'Leaves from a Survivor's Diary: Autobiographical Sketches', by H.K. Herglotz, Vantage Press, signed on title page, 305 pages, 1993, 9.25 x 6.25 inches.
