In 1957, Al HaMishmar Press in Tel Aviv published "The Dead Sea Scrolls, " a comprehensive portfolio that includes a 107-page booklet and 20 loose plates featuring black-and-white photographic reproductions of the scrolls against colored backgrounds. The booklet is primarily in Hebrew, accompanied by an English foreword by Professor Yigael Yadin. The collection is housed in a black cloth portfolio with folding flaps, stamped in silver.
