Carlos Alberto Martínez Tévez (Ciudadella, 5 February 1984) is an Argentine football manager and former footballer.

Considered one of the best strikers of his generation, [2] in his career he won four Argentine championships, an Argentine Cup, an Argentine Super Cup, a League Cup, a Copa Libertadores, an Intercontinental Cup and a South American Cup with Boca Juniors, a Brazilian championship with Corinthians, two English championships, an English League Cup, a Community Shield, a UEFA Champions League and a FIFA Club World Cup with Manchester Utd, a championship, an FA Cup and a Community Shield with Manchester City, two Italian championships, an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup with Juventus.

With the Argentine national team he played in two World Cups (Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010), four America's Cups (2004, 2007, 2011 and 2015) and one Confederations Cup (2005). He also won an Olympics with the Olympic selection (2004).

On an individual level, among other awards, he was elected Argentine footballer of the year twice (2003 and 2004) and South American footballer of the year three times (2003, 2004 and 2005).
