A GREEK BLACK GLAZED TERRACOTTA TRIFOLD OIL VESSEL, 3RD CENTURY BC
This Ancient Greek, black glazed, terracotta oil vessel is single handled with a trifolded rim creating a three leafed motif. The body is bulbous with a narrow neck and flat base. The underside bears its original terracotta color.
Ancient Greece - 3rd Century BC.
Provenance: Private Collection, NYC.
H: 4 5/8 in., (12 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall. Signs of age. Chipping and glaze fading in places. See photos for reference.
