A RUSSIAN KUZNETSOV PORCELAIN PLATE "LOCOMOBILE," LATE 19TH CEN.
Rare advertising porcelain plate, Kuznetzov factory, Russia, end of the 19th century. Printed decoration with a steam engine, advertising of the Malt Factory in Ljudinovo, a joint-stock company for steam engines.
Bears Cyrillic letters, and decoration in brown ink underglaze.
Blue ink factory mark on the verso.
Dimensions: D: 10 in., (25.5 cm.)
Condition: The plate appears to be in good condition with small brown spots on the front and small hairline cracks on the verso.
