A P. DUBOIS SIGNED BRONZE AFTER HIS ORIGINAL 'THE FLORENTINE SINGER', 1868
A fine bronze statue of a lute player wearing medieval garb titled 'The Florentine Singer', sculpted, signed, and dated by renowned French sculptor Paul Dubois (1829 - 1905) and cast by Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810 - 1892) using the 'Reduction Mecanique' invented by his partner Achille Collas (1795-1859). The signatures of Dubois and Barbedienne, as well as the medallion for Collas' method, can be found on the base of the statue.
