A RUSSIAN BRONZE GROUPING BY GRACHEV OF COSSACK RIDERS, CA. 1882
This is a bronze grouping by famed Russian sculptor Vasily Grachev (1831 -1905) the greatest competitor of Eugeny Lanceray. This piece was cast by Fabrica C. F. Woerffel and is signed by them at the statue's base. The sculpture depicts two Cossack riders initiating a charge.
