A CARVED EUROPEAN TRIPTYCH WITH SHELL BACK, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
A carved bone triptych icon depicting Madonna and the Christ child in the center and bishops or saints on either side. The icon is highlighted with turquoise paint and cased in a shell panel with a bone lock and a metal hook.
Europe, 18th or 19th Century
