A PAIR OF RUSSIAN BRONZE AND MARBLE CANDELABRA, 19TH CENTURY
A beautiful pair of Russian, possibly Baltic region, 19th-century ormolu bronze candelabras in the form of Neoclassical Atheniennes with eagle heads. The pieces are both mounted on bleu turquin marble bases and contain rouge marble orbs housed in the center of each candelabra. Four holes in each leaf of the flower formed a candle cup allowing the hanging of decoration.
