A GERMAN PORCELAIN FIGURINE GROUPING OF A BOY AND GIRL, CA. 1900
German porcelain grouping of children in period clothing, a boy seated on a sleigh in a winter hat and boots, and a girl standing in a hooded cape, engaged in a playful scene. The figures have delicate facial features and soft pastel shades, typical of German porcelain traditions. The grouping features Rococo influence in the ornate, flowing design. The pink coloration is notable, sometimes referred to as "pink luster" or "Schneeballen-style" in German porcelain.
Marked on the verso by the manufacturer in dark blue ink underglaze.
