Three Photographs of Women in a Studio - Jaffa and Cairo, the End of the 19th Century and Beginning of the 20th Century
A, Photograph of a woman. Glued onto cardboard. Cairo.
At the front: illustrations of flowers around the frame. At the bottom, the name of the photo studio: Photographie Viennoise, Le Caire Egypte.
On the reverse side: the details of the studio in Arabic and French. The photographer (in large, curly script): Jaques Galitzenstein. Illustration of the pyramids.

B. Two women dressed in "Russian" embroidered shirts (the fashion of the pioneers of the first Aliyot). Glued onto cardboard.
At the bottom of the frame: Sawabani Jaffa I. – the photographer Issa Sawabani who worked in Palestine during the Ottoman and British periods.
16x13 cm.
C. A mother and daughter wearing dresses, holding hands. Glued onto cardboard.
On the reverse side: the details of the photo studio and the photographer "Daud Sabungi", in Arabic and French. Daud Sabungi worked in Jaffa since 1892 until the beginning of the 20th century.
