Ushpizin – “Mizrach” (East wall) for a Sukkah – Jerusalem
Large color poster of ushpizin for Sukkot, which includes a painting with an impressive micrography – “memorabilia from Jerusalem, the holy city”. Approx. 1950s.
In the center of the poster is a painting of the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives, alongside holy sites around Jerusalem. The poster includes 14 numbered sites in total, among them the tombs of the Cohens’ sons and the tombs of the prophets Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
The drawing’s boundary is made up of verses. The sites are numbered, and at the bottom of each picture is a caption in Hebrew and English.
