Hungarian Budapest Fischer Serpent Ewer
Hungarian antique pottery decorative ewer or Turkish coffee pot with serpent handle, hand painted with elaborate design with gold overlay, from the pottery of Ignac Fischer of Budapest, Austro-Hungarian Empire, today Hungary. Fischer was supplier to the Imperial and Royal Austro-Hungarian Court, marked on base in blue underglaze Fischer J. Budapest and other impressed marks. Condition statement : spout of ewer has been restored. 12.5 inches H x 8.5 W.
