Adaptation of the German-language novella "Peter Schlemihls wundersame Geschichte" (Peter Schlemihl's Miraculous Story) by the French-German poet Adelbert von Chamisso. Printed in a limited edition of 300 copies. With nine woodcuts by Jacob Pins.
Inscribed on the front flyleaf by Yehuda Yaari to the author and translator Yitshak Schönberg (Shenhar), Jerusalem, 1948.
