The sixth volume of the Bible edition illustrated by Ephraim Moses Lilien, including Psalms, Book of Lamentations and Song of Songs.
Inscribed by Lilien to his wife on the front flyleaf, with a long quotation from the book of Psalms (page 48 in the present book); signed "Efra", as Lilien used to sign his letters to his wife.
Bookplate to inside front board, reading "Mein Kind, Mein Buch Helene Lilien" – an original engraving by E.M. Lilien.
328 pp, 25.5 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes to binding.
