Notation preceding title page written in 1929"Gift by Rabbi Michael Levy to my wife Chaya, granddaughter of Rabbi Akiva Eiger who was in possession of this book. Tamuz, 1929. A. Schoenfeld". The Ginz family was among the most highly respected families in Eisenstadt for hundreds of years; the most outstanding family member is Rabbi Akiva Ginz-Eiger (named Rabbi Akiva Eiger after his mother's family].
