Printed broadside for the eastern wall of the synagogue. Dense Hebrew text.
Edges chipped, heavy folds, small loss at extreme lower edge, taped on verso. 18 x 26 inches.

Rare. Contains uncommon material not found in standard Mizrach plaques. Apart from the striking design, what makes this Shevithi unusual is that it contains within each Menorah branch the text of recommended daily Torah and Talmud study as set out by the 17th century pietist work Shnei Luchot HaBrith by the Shela’h.
