Special Letter with valuable Content Handwritten and Signed by Rabbi Avraham Kalmanowitz, the Head of the Mir Yeshiva in the USA – 1958
The letter is written on the official stationery of the Mir Yeshiva, with an illustration of the yeshiva on its upper part.
The letter is addressed to Rabbi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin, one of the greatest Poskim of the USA.
Rabbi Kalmanovitz writes about his illness, from which he has not yet recovered, and which caused an economic crisis to the yeshiva. He asks Rabbi Henkin to support the yeshiva and especially the "many students we saved from Egypt, Syria and Morocco", who are "sick and weak".
