Tali Ben Eliezer (1976) is a self-taught Israeli artist, living and creating in Tel Aviv.

Tali Ben Eliezer's wounded women pull us down with a wink and a lighted cigarette, exposing us to their lives made up of a variety of regrettable decisions. Those bourgeois girls have grown up and now change their minds on a daily basis, running away from every shred of disappointing reality, always looking to be somewhere else.

With the unrefined use of cynicism and black humor, the artist manages to convey to us that theirs is always worse, and the troubles of others, as is well known, are naturally a very reassuring thing.

Tali's women get entangled and deceived, push the boundaries and miss, but mostly make us identify with them. Tali's paintings present us with the best and most common mistakes and how they can be successfully incorporated into life. or not.
