Highlights include several works by old masters; Balthasar Paul Ommeganck, Peter Jacob Horemans and others, works by local artists including Ralph Taylor and Harry Rosin, rare French Faience by Delphin Massier, a good mid 20th century rosewood table by Kurt Ostervig for Randers Mobelfabrik, tableware by Dirk Van Erp, and a portrait of Captain James Scott, attributed to American portrait painter Edward Savage (1761-1817).

An English Carved Oak Joined Blanket Chest Late 17th / Early 18th Century. The thumb molded three board hinged top enclosing an open box with triple panel front over a single side-hung drawer.
Dimensions: Height 30 1/4in; width 45 3/4in; depth 19 1/4in.
Provenance: Property from a Local Collection.
Condition:
Structurally sound. In an overall refinished condition. The drawer is now lacking. Typical marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses overall. Originally the top was attached by iron cotter pins, the current hinges are later replacements. Evidence of old wood worm. to elements. No key.
