Mishneh Torah LeHaRambam with its commentators, Section II: Seder Nashim and Kedusha. Printed in Jessenitz, 1740. [1], 148; 112, [2] leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. 


Stains. Somemoth damage. Some taping. Fair-good overall condition. 


Stamps of the Strashun Library: "חותם בית עקד הספרים להגאון המנוח ר' מתתי' שטראשון זצ"ל מווילנא" of Rabbi Matityahu Strashun (1818-1886) was a Lithuanian rabbi, a book collector and bibliophile. He founded the Strashun Library. He was the son of the well-known Talmudist, Rabbi Shmuel Strashun (the Rashash). Studied under Rabbi Yitzchak of Volozhin and Rabbi Menashe of Iliya. 


On the title page, a signature: "שייך לי הק' זכרי' מענדל" and a stamp: "זבד". Inside the book, handwritten comments and glosses on the margins and inside, some of them significant, indicating their writer was a Talmid Chacham.
