Rare and Original! Zecher Avraham / Vezot LiYehuda - First Edition Partly Antwerp, 1934

Sefer Zecher Avraham "elucidations and illuminations on the Sages' Aggadot". At its end, Vezot LiYehuda, Mamarei Drush dedicated to his son, Julius Bermad, by Rabbi Avraham ben Asher Henzel Bermad (Bormat), Uman-born. 


First edition of Vezot LiYehuda and the additions as follows (the first was a mimeographed edition published anonymously) - published by his son Julius Bermad - Antwerp, 1934. 263 pp. Each book has a special title page. On the title page of Sefer Zecher Avraham: Amsterdam, 1931: Antwerp, Y. Plesand Press, 1931. On the title page of Vezot LiYehuda: Amsterdam, Antwerp, 1932. The year of printing here is based on the printed cover. 


At its end, Tochachat Meguleh, a dispute between father and son on religion, edited by the author to bring his beloved grandson, Mr. Louis Berman who was an advocate in Amsterdam, back to religion. The last pages contain a eulogy for the author and his doctrine by Yosef Privlodani. 


Rrae book which, to the best of our knowledge, has never appeared in auctions. 

No binding. Front printed cover only, detached. Minor stains. Wide margins. Some moth perforations. Good overall condition.
