Portuguese silver tea and coffee service, 19thcentuy, consisting of a teapot, coffee maker, milk jug and sugar bowl. Decoration in relief with windings and plant motifs, with the buttons on the lids in the shape of a lion. Coffee pot, teapot and sugar bowl with Oporto assay mark (P-37.0), in use from 1855 to 1861 and JPL maker's mark (P-438.0), attributable to José Pinto Leitão, dating from 1822 to 1861; Oporto branded milk jug (P-45.0 or variant) in use from c.1877 to 1881, and IMG makers mark (P-359.0), by José Marques Guedes, dated from 1856 to 1887. Missing nuts on the lid knobs . Small defects, dents and scratches. (4) Total weight approx.: 4394 g.; Height approx. max.: 26.5 cm.
