Set for Grand Officer of the Order of the Legion of Honor, France, Republic, consisting of a plaque, pendants and a miniature in gilded silver and enamels, with ribbons. Plate with French brand in use in the 19th century. XIX/XX and manufacturer's emblem Lemoine Fils Suc. Along with a gold and enamel pendant from the Order of the Legion of Honor, France, with a ribbon, unmarked but with a French maker's mark. No marks, under Decree-Law 120/2017, of 15 September - art. 2, no. 2, subparagraph c). Defective cases, one monogrammed. Along with three diplomas issued by the Grand Chancellor of the Order of the Legion of Honor, France, referring to the decorations of Grand Officer (1884), this one also includes a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs addressed to the Hon. Mr Manuel Pinheiro Chagas, Knight (1919) and Officer (1936). Small defects, wear and signs of use. (4) Gold pendant gross weight: 26 g.; Weight approx. plate: 84 g.
